Library

The Library is the central workspace where all your projects, layers, lists, and annotations are organized and accessed. It allows you to browse public datasets, personal work, shared layers, and sources such as StackDX Land and StackDX Intel.

The library can be searched through the Search Library bar in the bottom right panel of the interface or a full library navigation screen can be launched by clicking the Open Library button.

The full library view has a left-hand panel that segregates your Projects and Layers into different sources and groups.

The groupings are:

Projects

  • Personal – Projects saved by you and not shared. No one else can access or see these projects.

  • Shared – Projects shared across your organization

Layers

  • Public – StackDX-managed datasets available to all users. Includes over 200 different layers and always growing and being kept up to date

  • Personal – Layers you’ve created or uploaded. No one else can access or see these layers.

  • Shared – Layers shared across your organization

  • StackDX Intel – Layers generated from StackDX Intel

  • StackDX Land – Layers generated from StackDX Land Integration

From the Library view, you can search for datasets using the Search Library bar at the top of the screen, or browse manually using the left-hand navigation panel. Click folder names to expand and view individual layers. To add a layer to your workspace, check the box beside its name — unchecking it will remove the layer from your workspace.

Each folder is displayed with a folder icon, and the count column shows the number of layers contained within that folder. At the individual layer level, the count represents the number of features in the dataset — such as wells or points, lines, or polygons.
